The typical process

From unpacking to a first response

1

Unpack and position

Check the appliance, AC adapter and cables, then position it. Prepare a monitor, keyboard and mouse for initial device setup. Specialist engineering is not generally required.

2

Connect and power on

Connect the LAN cable (or Wi-Fi 7) and power, then switch on. Initial OS setup requires temporary internet access.

3

Initial configuration

Follow the supplied manual to complete OS setup, then configure the administrator account and network. Initial OS setup and updates may take about one hour. See the Support page.

4

Get your first response and start working

From a computer on the internal network, open the service in your browser. After initial setup, client devices need no dedicated software and local AI can operate offline.

An offline-operation demonstration is planned for Evidence and security.

Installation checklist

Check before delivery; most standard office environments can meet these requirements.

  • Placement — A flat surface for the approximately 150 × 150 × 50.5 mm appliance and AC adapter, with adequate ventilation.
  • Power — One AC 100–240 V (50/60 Hz) outlet. Use the included 240 W AC adapter and confirm local electrical and plug compatibility.
  • Network — Wired internal LAN (RJ-45, up to 10GbE) or Wi-Fi 7.
  • Client device — A computer with a browser for normal use. Initial device setup also needs a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
  • Internal approvals — If device connection requires approval, share the Japanese security questionnaire answers with IT.
  • Multiple sites and larger deployments — For two-appliance expansion through ConnectX-7 or multi-site use, Contact sales can help you assess the configuration.
