Open the box, connect power and networking, and follow the setup guide. The source’s approximately 30-minute basic-configuration example assumes prerequisite OS setup and updates are complete. First-time OS setup requires temporary internet access and may include about an hour of updates. Once ready, employees can connect through their PC browsers and draft or summarize internal documents. The AI-OS is supplied with the product, so it does not have to be built in-house. Your own usage and governance policies still apply. No server room or dedicated installation work is needed.

DAY ONE

The first day: from unboxing to the first response

Think of a new smartphone: opening the box, powering on, setting language and networking, completing updates, signing in and opening an app. The Sovereign GaiXer sequence is similar. The roughly 30-minute basic-configuration example excludes prerequisite OS setup and updates. Follow the complete included support guide.

CHECKLIST

Three things to prepare for a smooth first day

Very little needs to be prepared internally for day-one use. No server room, dedicated cooling or electrical installation is required.

  • One power outlet: use the included 240W AC adapter, rated for AC 100–240V at 50/60Hz. No server rack or dedicated cooling is required; place it flat with adequate ventilation. Confirm local power-cable suitability for overseas installations.
  • An internal LAN connection: wired RJ-45 up to 10GbE or Wi-Fi 7. Day-to-day core AI use can be offline after initial setup. First-time OS setup requires temporary internet access. Isolated-network operation and offline product-update methods are supported afterward.
  • A company PC with a browser: a current version of a major browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is sufficient. No dedicated software installation is required. Provide a monitor, keyboard and mouse for initial configuration.
An analogy

If introducing cloud AI resembles signing with a new telecom provider, choosing a plan and setting internal usage rules, introducing Sovereign GaiXer resembles opening a new smartphone, connecting it to Wi-Fi and beginning to use it. The AI-OS handles the difficult platform work in advance, making that first day possible.

Review the installation checklist before delivery. For a coordinated start on day one, the Japanese offer includes paid GaiXer Care: 10 hours of initial deployment assistance for JPY 300,000 before tax (JPY 330,000 including Japanese tax), ordered with the unit or later. Contact sales for overseas availability, service language and scope.
WHAT YOU CAN DO

What can you actually do on the first day?

Just as a smartphone includes calling, camera and messaging apps, Sovereign GaiXer includes chat as a standard AI-OS app. You can start using it for work after signing in.

Use immediately: chat

Draft emails and reports, summarize long text, refine wording and develop initial ideas. Inputs are processed inside the unit without being sent to the internet, so you can work with documents containing information that cannot leave the company. By the first response, the system is already usable for work.

Open on day one: the GaiXer App Store

Choose and use business apps for meeting minutes, presentations and more from the store, much as you install smartphone apps. The system for building, distributing and running apps described in Part 2 is available from day one.

Start on day one: internal document ingestion

Load PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and audio to answer using company materials through RAG, without sending them outside the company. Even one policy or manual can help draft responses to internal questions.

Roll out on day one: user registration

Create accounts in the admin console, including bulk CSV registration. There is no limit on registered users or additional per-user usage charge under the Japanese purchase model, excluding electricity and other operating expenses. With a user list prepared, you can start a departmental rollout on day one.

NEXT DAYS

After day one: what changes in a week and a month

A new smartphone starts with standard apps and becomes more personal as you add more. Sovereign GaiXer can develop in the same way.

Day one

Make it usable

Finish installation and setup, then sign in as an administrator. Use the built-in chat to draft one real work document. This turns “apparently it works” into “we used it.”

The first week

Add users and source documents

Register users in bulk and roll out by department. Import policies, manuals and past documents to try responses grounded in internal content. Check usage through admin-console charts and CSV exports.

After a month

Build your own business apps

Because the AI-OS handles LLM operation and security, you can build generative AI apps for your workflows and distribute them internally through the GaiXer App Store without programming knowledge. This is the stage where the people doing the work build the tools for it.

What this means

The answer to “What can we do on day one?” is use AI that day with documents containing internal confidential information. In the following week more people can join; in the following month company-specific apps can begin to run. You do not have to build everything from scratch because the AI-OS and app store are already installed. These are illustrative rollout stages, not guaranteed schedules.

FAQ

Day-one setup: frequently asked questions

How long does delivery take?

The Japanese offer specifies delivery 1–2 business days after shipment, with shipping included. The system arrives configured for use after power-on. These conditions do not establish overseas delivery times or shipping costs. Contact sales to confirm delivery to your country, including any deadline requirements.

How long does it take to start using it after unboxing?

The Japanese article gives a roughly 30-minute estimate for basic installation and configuration once prerequisites are ready. First-time OS setup requires temporary internet access and may involve about an hour of updates, so this is not a total unboxing-to-use guarantee. Network approval, configuration and operating-policy work can add more time.

What is required for installation?

One power outlet, an internal LAN (wired RJ-45 up to 10GbE, or Wi-Fi 7) and a PC with a browser. No server room or dedicated installation work is needed. At approximately 150 × 150 × 50.5 mm and 1.2 kg, the unit fits on an office desk. Provide a monitor, keyboard and mouse separately for initial setup.

What is included in the box?

The unit, a 240W AC adapter, power cable and two USB-A-to-USB-C adapter cables, plus safety instructions, an exterior diagram and a support guide.

Can I use it from day one without internet access?

Yes, after initial setup. First-time OS setup requires temporary internet access and may include about an hour of updates. Afterward, core AI functions can run on an isolated internal LAN, and product updates support offline transfer methods.

Do employees need to install dedicated software on their PCs?

No. Access it through the latest version of a major browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. A PC that can connect to your internal network can use the system.

What exactly can we do on day one?

Chat is included as a standard AI-OS app, so after signing in you can draft, summarize and refine text. Business apps such as meeting-minutes and presentation creation are available from the GaiXer App Store. You can also begin loading internal documents so AI answers from company materials using RAG, and register users through the admin console, including bulk CSV registration.

Can we get help with setup?

Yes. The Japanese GaiXer Care offer includes 10 hours of initial implementation assistance from a specialist team for JPY 300,000 before tax (JPY 330,000 including Japanese tax). It can be ordered with the unit or added later. Overseas availability, language and service scope require confirmation with sales. The support page also includes videos covering unboxing, startup and initial setup.

How many people can use it, and does adding users increase the cost?

There is no limit on registered users, and the Japanese purchase model has no additional charge for more users or generations, excluding electricity and other operating expenses. Concurrent-use performance depends on the workload. Contact sales to discuss configurations for larger organizations and applicable overseas terms.

Why can it be used from day one?

PGX hardware includes Ubuntu, a computer OS, but not the AI-OS needed for business AI. Sovereign GaiXer includes inference-engine management, hallucination controls, prompt injection defenses and user management as its AI-OS, with chat as a standard app. You can start without first building these systems in-house. Part 1 explains this in more detail.
