Turn NVIDIA GPUs into business AI from day one:
four things Sovereign GaiXer handles
as software
NVIDIA GPUs provide the computing power that runs generative AI. But computing power alone is not AI that employees can use for their work. Sovereign GaiXer’s software (the AI-OS) fills that gap. It is usable from day one, adds AI to business software, can be brought into closed networks, and grows as usage grows. This article explains these four benefits.
Key points
Sovereign GaiXer is software (an AI-OS) that turns the computing power of NVIDIA GPUs into generative AI you can use for business from the day it arrives. Chat, internal document search, transcription, user management and audit logs, and updates with integrity verification are all included from the start. You can use it for work on day one, with no in-house development. It also supports adding AI to business software, bringing it into government, local government and hospital environments, and adding units as usage grows. It is currently delivered as a product installed on the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX, which carries an NVIDIA GPU, for a one-time price of JPY 3,806,400 before tax.

How do GPUs and Sovereign GaiXer relate? — GPUs provide computing power; Sovereign GaiXer is an AI-OS for business use
Running generative AI takes an enormous amount of computation. That work is handled by NVIDIA GPUs (chips that perform huge numbers of calculations at once). But a GPU only supplies the computing power. Employees opening a browser to ask questions. Letting the AI read internal documents. Recording who used it. Turning computing power into something usable for work like this is the job of software. Sovereign GaiXer handles that part.
NVIDIA GPU = computing power × Sovereign GaiXer = an AI-OS for business use. Without either one, there is no business AI. Computing power alone has no screens for employees and no management tools. Software alone has nothing to run on. Only together do they become “business AI you can use from the day it arrives.”
As explained in Part 1, Sovereign GaiXer has the same four layers as a smartphone. The top three layers (business apps, the GaiXer App Store and the AI-OS) are software; the bottom layer is the hardware carrying an NVIDIA GPU. Of these, the third layer, the AI-OS, supports everything else.
SmartphoneThe device you use every day
Sovereign GaiXerSoftware that turns GPUs into business AI
A smartphone is not usable with just a computing chip, either. It becomes a tool only when the OS lends the chip’s power to apps and you install apps from the app store. Sovereign GaiXer is software that delivers the “OS,” the “app store” and the “business apps” for NVIDIA GPUs, all together.
Think of a car: the GPU is the engine. However powerful the engine, no one can drive it without a steering wheel, brakes, seats and gauges. Sovereign GaiXer fits the engine with a body and a driver’s seat, making a car that anyone with a license can drive. It is the body, not the engine, that turns engine performance into everyday travel.
Can you use it for work from the day it arrives, with no in-house development? — The parts you need for work are included from the start
Yes. The parts you use for work are included from the start. Chat, internal document search, transcription, user management and audit logs, and even updates with integrity verification. After buying GPU hardware, you do not need to develop screens or management tools in-house.
Open a browser and start asking questions that day
Employees use it from the browser on their usual PCs: drafting, summarizing, rephrasing and brainstorming. There is no special software to distribute to employees.
Load your rules and manuals, and get answers from them
Import PDF and Office documents into the unit, and it answers based on your internal materials (RAG, connecting AI to internal data). Documents stay inside the unit and are not sent outside the company.
Turn meeting recordings into text
A speech transcription engine is built into the unit. It transcribes speech without an internet connection. The groundwork for meeting minutes is done on the spot.
Control who can use it and see what it was used for
Create and suspend accounts, register users in bulk by CSV, separate administrator and user permissions, and lock accounts automatically after repeated failed logins. It also records usage by department and person, plus administrative actions and logins (audit logs: records of who did what).
Update the AI-OS safely with one click
Update with one click from the admin console. Digital signatures verify that the package has not been tampered with, and if an update fails, it automatically rolls back to the previous version.
Install apps for minutes, presentations and more from the store
You choose business apps from the GaiXer App Store and install them, just like adding apps to a smartphone. Adding apps incurs no additional charges (excluding electricity and other operating expenses).
| What you need between delivery and business use | GPU hardware alone | Sovereign GaiXer |
|---|---|---|
| Screens for employees | Develop in-house | Chat included; used in a browser |
| A way to let AI read internal documents | Build ingestion and search | Just import PDF and Office documents |
| Running generative AI (LLMs) | Choose models; build and operate the software that runs them | Controlled by the AI-OS, including measures against wrong answers and inputs that trick AI |
| User accounts and permissions | Develop authentication and permissions | Bulk CSV registration, permission separation, automatic lock |
| Records of how it is used | Build a logging platform | Usage visibility and audit logs |
| Meeting transcription | Choose and build an engine | Built in; transcribes without internet |
| Software updates | Test and apply in-house | One-click updates, integrity verification, automatic rollback |
Remember the day you bought a new smartphone. Calling, the camera and maps were already there. No one builds their own calling app just to make a phone call. Sovereign GaiXer is the same: the basic tools for work are all in place when it arrives.
Can you add AI to business software already in use? — Deliver AI agents to customers’ sites through the app store
Yes. The key players here are companies that make business software (business software vendors). Accounting, sales management, electronic medical records, document management: software already used by many companies and hospitals can have AI agents (AI that takes an instruction and carries out several steps on its own) added later. Sovereign GaiXer provides the foundation for that.
When a business software vendor tries to build an AI version of its product, it hits a large barrier outside its core business: developing and maintaining what amounts to an AI-OS. It comes down to three things.
Choosing, running and constantly watching generative AI
You decide which generative AI (LLM) to use and build the system that runs it. Measures against wrong answers (hallucinations) and inputs that trick AI (prompt injection) must also be kept up indefinitely.
Building user management and audit logs for each product
Who can use it, and who did what. Customers’ IT departments always require these features, and you would have to build them from scratch for the AI version.
Maintaining machines at customer sites, one by one
The more confidential a customer’s data, the less they can send AI work outside. The burden of continued updates and troubleshooting on machines inside each customer’s premises remains.
Sovereign GaiXer takes on these three barriers as the AI-OS. Business software vendors can focus on building AI versions of their apps using their own domain knowledge. Finished apps are delivered through the GaiXer App Store to units placed inside the customer’s premises (on premises: inside the organization’s own buildings).
Smartphone game companies do not build operating systems. Because the OS provides the screen, networking and app distribution, they can focus entirely on making the game fun. For business software vendors, Sovereign GaiXer plays that OS role. They can create AI versions of their products without building the AI foundation.
Can you bring it straight into government, local government and hospitals? — Isolated by default, updated without leaving the closed network
Yes. Government bodies, local governments and hospitals cannot let much of their information leave the premises. Sovereign GaiXer is disconnected from the internet by default. All processing is completed inside the unit, and what you enter is not sent outside.
It starts disconnected
The unit has an isolation switch, set to “blocked” by default. Internet access is not required; it runs on the internal LAN alone. Whether to connect is your organization’s decision.
Updates without connecting to the internet
The AI-OS can be updated with a single USB drive. Digital signatures verify that the package has not been tampered with before it is applied, and failed updates roll back automatically.
Questions and documents stay inside the unit
Both the questions and the internal documents you load are processed inside the unit. It does not send them to an external cloud to produce answers.

The provider FIXER’s generative AI service GaiXer (cloud version) is registered as an LGWAN-ASP service for LGWAN, the administrative network used by local governments (December 2024).
Local governments can place it alongside work that handles residents’ information. Hospitals can use it to draft clinical and intake records and summarize medical documents (output is drafting support that assumes review by healthcare professionals and does not replace diagnostic or treatment decisions). Using it as a backup for when cloud AI stops (BCP) is covered in Part 11.
Picture a locked records room deep inside a government office or hospital. Sovereign GaiXer is an “AI staff member” placed inside that room. It reads the records and answers without taking them out of the room. When it needs to learn something new (an update), you simply bring in a sealed package (a USB drive) following a set procedure.
More use means more GPUs? — Start with one unit and add more as usage grows
Yes. Sovereign GaiXer is a product you start with one unit and expand by adding units as more people use it. The guideline is 10–20 users per unit (assuming a few people generate answers at the same time). The further it spreads across the company, the more GPUs are at work inside it.
Start with one department
The guideline is 10–20 users per unit. There is no limit on registered users, and more users do not incur additional charges (excluding electricity and other operating expenses).
Just place it, and two units work together
Place a second unit on the same network, and the units find each other automatically and form a single combined configuration (a cluster). You can check each unit’s status on the monitoring dashboard.
See “AI usage” in money
The AI-OS converts the AI usage it processed into what the same work would have cost with cloud AI, shown in Japanese yen. You can decide whether to add units based on numbers, not gut feeling.
| What to look at | What it tells you | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Usage visibility | Which departments use it, who, and how much | Spread the practices of heavy-use departments to others |
| AI value conversion | What the same work would have cost with cloud AI | Show the impact in money and justify the budget for more units |
| Monitoring dashboard (from the second unit) | The status of each unit | Consider the next unit as usage grows |
When more people ride a commuter train, the railway adds cars. The tracks, stations and the way people ride stay the same; only the number of cars grows. Expanding Sovereign GaiXer works the same way: how you use it and your business apps stay the same, and you simply add units.
What changes, and for whom? — The four benefits by role
The four benefits matter differently depending on your role. IT teams, executives, business software vendors, sales partners for GPU hardware, and public-sector staff: here are each group’s concerns and what changes.
| Role | Concerns | What changes with Sovereign GaiXer |
|---|---|---|
| IT teams at companies, local governments and hospitals | Development and operating effort; data leaving the organization | Usable from day one with no in-house development. Isolated by default, and updates stay within the closed network |
| Executives and budget owners | Predictable costs; being able to explain the impact | One-time purchase of JPY 3,806,400. No additional charges as usage grows (excluding electricity and other operating expenses). AI value conversion shows the impact in money |
| Business software vendors | Development and maintenance of an AI version | The AI-OS development and maintenance is taken on for them, and apps reach customer sites through the app store |
| Sales partners for GPU hardware | Whether delivered machines keep being used | The software turns them into work tools, so more use leads to more units (currently an integrated product on PGX; support for other hardware with the software alone is planned to expand after verification) |
| Public-sector staff in government, local government and hospitals | Whether it works with information that cannot leave the premises | Fully self-contained in a closed network. The provider FIXER’s generative AI service GaiXer (cloud version) is registered as an LGWAN-ASP service |
Common misconceptions, and the reality
People often assume that “with a high-performance GPU, generative AI is ready to use right away.” In reality, it can be used across the company only when there is software that turns computing power into a work tool.
| Common misconception | The reality |
|---|---|
| Buy high-performance GPU hardware, and the whole company can use generative AI right away | A GPU supplies only computing power. Screens for employees, user management, audit logs and an update system are needed separately |
| Using it for work requires development by specialist AI engineers | Sovereign GaiXer includes the parts you use for work from the start. It is usable on day one with no in-house development |
| To add AI to business software, you must build the AI foundation in-house | Sovereign GaiXer takes on AI-OS development and maintenance, and apps reach customer sites through the store |
| Generative AI cannot be updated on a closed network | A single USB drive updates it without leaving the closed network. Digital signatures also verify that nothing has been tampered with |
| As users grow, the only option is to replace it with a bigger server | Place a second unit on the same network and a cluster forms automatically. How you use it stays the same |
| Sovereign GaiXer itself is registered as an LGWAN-ASP service | What is registered is the provider FIXER’s generative AI service GaiXer (cloud version) |

GPUs and Sovereign GaiXer: frequently asked questions
How do Sovereign GaiXer and NVIDIA GPUs relate?
Sovereign GaiXer is software (an AI-OS) that turns the computing power of NVIDIA GPUs into generative AI you can use for business from the day it arrives. NVIDIA GPUs supply the computing power that runs generative AI, while Sovereign GaiXer supplies the parts needed for business use: chat, internal document search, transcription, user management, audit logs and updates. It is currently installed on the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX, which carries an NVIDIA GPU, and provided as a single product combined with the hardware.
Can’t I just buy GPU hardware and use it for work?
It can compute, but on its own it is not in a form employees can use for work. You would need to develop or build screens for employees, a way to let AI read internal documents, user accounts and permissions, usage records, software updates and more in-house. Sovereign GaiXer includes all of these from the start.
What can I use on the day it arrives?
Chat, internal document search (answering based on imported PDF and Office documents), speech transcription, user management and audit logs, and one-click updates are available from the start. Business apps for meeting minutes, presentations and more are chosen and installed from the GaiXer App Store. Employees use it from the browser on their usual PCs.
We are a business software vendor. Can we add AI to our products?
Yes. The barrier to building an AI version of business software is developing and maintaining what amounts to an AI-OS: a system that keeps generative AI running, user management and audit logs, and maintenance of machines at customer sites. Sovereign GaiXer takes this on, so business software vendors can focus on building AI versions of their apps and deliver them through the GaiXer App Store to units inside customers’ premises. For partnership discussions, please use our partner inquiry form.
Can it be used without an internet connection?
Yes. The unit has an isolation switch, and internet access is blocked by default. An internet connection is not required; it runs on the internal LAN alone. Processing is completed inside the unit, and what you enter is not sent outside. AI-OS updates can also be applied with a single USB drive without leaving the closed network.
Can local governments and hospitals use it?
Yes. It can sit alongside work that handles information that cannot leave the premises and be used entirely within a closed network. Hospitals can use it to draft clinical and intake records and summarize medical documents. Output is drafting support that assumes review by healthcare professionals and does not replace diagnostic or treatment decisions. Note that the provider FIXER’s generative AI service GaiXer (cloud version) is registered as an LGWAN-ASP service (Sovereign GaiXer itself is not registered).
How many people can use one unit?
The guideline is 10–20 users per unit, assuming a few people generate answers at the same time. There is no limit on registered users, and more users do not incur additional charges (excluding electricity and other operating expenses).
What should we do as the number of users grows?
You can add more units. Place a second unit on the same network, and the units find each other automatically and form a cluster (a single combined configuration). You can check each unit’s status on the monitoring dashboard. AI value conversion, which shows processed AI usage as the equivalent cloud AI cost, lets you decide on adding units based on numbers. The scope of multi-unit clustering varies by configuration.
Can I buy only the software and use it on my own GPU server?
As of October 2026, the software is not sold on its own. It is currently installed on the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX and provided as a single product combined with the hardware. We plan to gradually expand the range of hardware supported by the software alone, after verifying operation. For questions about your own GPU servers, please book a 15-minute online consultation.
How much does it cost? Do charges increase with usage?
It is a one-time purchase of JPY 3,806,400 before tax (JPY 4,187,040 including tax). This includes the hardware, the software license and a three-year hardware warranty. More generations or users do not incur additional charges (excluding electricity and other operating expenses). GaiXer Care, initial deployment assistance (10 hours, JPY 300,000 per unit before tax), is a paid option. Overseas terms require confirmation.

Hand someone just a powerful engine, and no one can drive it to work. Take the engine (an NVIDIA GPU), add a body, a driver’s seat and the right tools for each destination, and deliver it all together. That is Sovereign GaiXer. Anyone can drive it on the day it arrives, it can run inside a locked garage (a closed network), and when more people need rides, you add another car. Turning a GPU’s computing power into a company’s everyday work is the job of software.
